Local Talk: Planting Trees, Orchards and Hedgerows

ACRES West Connacht would like to invite members of the farming and local community to an informative event on trees, orchards and hedgerows.

Learn about selecting the right trees for the right places with Horticulturist Darragh Shaw, of Turlough Nurseries; who will also give a demonstration on the best planting methods and management.

You will also have an opportunity to visit the newly planted areas near the Ballycroy Visitor Centre and learn about some of the planting actions available in the ACRES CP scheme.
